Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring for Security Officer/Guard in the Pittsburgh area to help maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites. The role includes observing and reporting incidents, and providing high-quality customer service to client personnel.

Requirements include 2+ years of security experience, ability to perform patrols, strong technology skills, and passing a drug screen and background check. Weekly pay and growth opportunities within the company are offered.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for safety and security of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, potentially long periods, including stairs and uneven terrain.
• Physical requirements may include lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Delivers customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Wage: $17.50-18.50/ hour

MULTIPLE OPENINGS: Schedule to include weekend hours and 2nd shift hours. 2+ years of security experience required. Must have strong customer service skills, the ability to complete patrols, and strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).

Security Officer/Guard

• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
