Station Casinos is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a secure Corporate Office facility in Las Vegas. You will control access, monitor CCTV and alarms, and coordinate with executives to ensure safety and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in security or related fields, a valid Nevada license, and CPR/AED certification. The role requires professionalism, teamwork, and adherence to firearm handling protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Two years in Security/Law Enforcement/Military.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Know how to operate alarm systems and monitoring equipment.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Nevada driver’s license; ability to obtain Nevada CCW.
• No disqualifying crimes per NRS 179C.100.

Description:

Maintain a safe and secure environment at the Corporate Office facility. Monitor the ingress and egress of executives, visitors, vendors and contractors by maintaining and utilizing daily logs, and badge system. Monitor the CCTV system and alarm systems as necessary to ensure the security of Corporate facility.

Make numerous security patrols around Corporate facility, during the course of a shift, to ensure the integrity of the facility. Complete necessary informational and incident reports as needed in a timely manner. Maintain clear and open communication upward, downward and laterally as appropriate. Act in relation to co-workers, visitors and or general public in a manner consistent with the best interest of the company. Practice teamwork, support fellow co-workers to create an energized, positive work atmosphere. Overall appearance is to be immaculate and nametags are to be worn at all times. Must be able to follow rules, regulations and procedures regarding carrying /use of a firearm as well as demonstrate proficiency in using, handling, and training with assigned or authorized weapon. Maintain and keep confidential all information pertinent to the security, professional and private business of Company executives, and other Team Members.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or successful completion of a GED Certificate.
• Associate's or higher degree preferred.
• Preferred two (2) years in Security, Law Enforcement or the Military.
• Ability to become CPR/AED Certified is required.
• Demonstrate and understand management's goals and objectives.
• Must have a working knowledge of, and be able to be trained to fully utilize, all functions of an alarm system and security monitoring equipment.
• Adequate computer skills with a working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and various other software programs.
• Must not have been convicted of any crime for which registration is required pursuant to NRS 179C.100.
• Must maintain a valid Nevada driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada CCW, and carry only authorized or issued firearms.
