About The Role

Airalo is seeking a Head of Business Development to join our Partnerships department.

The future of connectivity for leisure and business travelers is through eSIMs, moving away from expensive roaming and physical SIM cards. As a leader in the B2C segment, we aim to expand our leadership into B2B (business travel) and B2B2C (resellers) channels.

As the Head of Business Development for MENA, you will lead Airalo’s B2B and B2B2C strategies to ensure our presence across these channels.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  1. Work closely with our Director of Partnerships and team members in the department.
  2. Collaborate with the Growth team and partnership specialists for market mapping of prospects, including travel agents, tour operators, and retail stores for the Airalo Partner Platform.
  3. Onboard and support new partners in the Airalo Partners community.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive mutual benefits.
  5. Increase visibility, awareness, and adoption of Airalo within partner organizations.
  6. Design and manage programs to educate businesses on eSIM adoption.
  7. Support research to monitor market developments and maintain Airalo’s status as a preferred provider.
  8. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute projects successfully.
  9. Own and track monthly, quarterly, and annual OKRs with regular reports.

Must-haves

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate or channel sales in relevant markets.
  • Experience in travel, telecom, or consumer sales industries.
  • Ability to build and nurture stakeholder relationships across channels.
  • Strong storytelling skills to communicate Airalo’s value proposition.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques like questioning, objection handling, and solution selling.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience with sales tools such as Hubspot.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.

Good To Have

  • Familiarity with the travel or telecom industry.
  • Experience in team building and leadership.
  • Certificates or courses in sales and partnerships.
  • Additional language skills relevant to the region.
