The role / Position overview
FT Locations is a division of the Financial Times Group (FT Group), providing world-class location intelligence products and consulting services. We empower organizations with data-driven insights to optimize investment decisions, mitigate risks, and enhance business expansion strategies.

As FT Locations grows its footprint among corporate users, we're hiring a Corporate Sales Associate to lead sales outreach and pipeline development among enterprise accounts across our international market. This is a high-impact role focused on unlocking new revenue opportunities and positioning FT Locations' data products as critical decision-making tools for site selection, expansion planning, and corporate investment.
Key responsibilities
Corporate Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Identify and engage corporate end-users across a set of targeted industries (e.g. Commercial real estate, financial services, multinational organizations)
  • Conduct strategic outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and qualify new leads
  • Deliver compelling product demos and client presentations
  • Handle sales pipelines and CRM activity tracking
  • Attend industry events and contribute to go-to-market strategy
Market Intelligence & Client Feedback
  • Share corporate insights with product and marketing teams
  • Supervise market trends and help refine product-market fit
  • Give feedback for messaging, pricing, and positioning
Strategic Sales Execution & Career Growth
  • Develop and lead a 12-month corporate sales plan
  • Implement strategic account growth and relationship building
  • Drive cross-sell and upsell across the FT Locations product suite
Required skills / experience
  • Shown B2B sales experience (databases, SaaS, location analytics, or consulting)
  • Strong relationship building, lead generation and outbound prospecting skills
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent)
  • Experience speaking publicly to corporate decision-makers
Desirable skills / experience
  • Corporate enterprise sales experience
  • Account based sales experience
  • Familiarity with economic development, site selection, or FDI
  • Understanding of the corporate expansion process, location strategy, enterprise sales, or supply chain planning
  • Spanish language skills a plus for LATAM outreach

Further information
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $68,000-$72,000 plus an attractive commission package. To ensure pay fairness, the successful candidate will be offered a salary within the estimated salary range based on a number of considerations including but not limited to: skill set; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organisational needs. The disclosed range estimate is for our NYC office and has not been adjusted for other locations.
