Overview

Expotel Hospitality Services is now hiring a dynamic Corporate Director of Revenue. The Corporate Director of Revenue Management is responsible for maximizing room revenue by managing and supervising each managed hotel’s room inventory, supporting, training, and overseeing the revenue management team at each property.

Please note: This position is on-site.

Education & Experience
  • A minimum of at least 3 years of Hotel Director of Revenue experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong background in field operations (5 years at managerial level.
  • Strong knowledge and background in Operations and Revenue Management.
  • Specific involvement and experience in employee training
  • Computer literacy i.e.: Excel, Microsoft Word, reservation systems, yield management systems, etc.
  • Ability to travel when necessary
Desirable qualifications
  • Front Office and/or Revenue Manager experience at a full-service hotel.
  • Multi-Unit property management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems relative to the Hotel/Restaurant industry.
Essential

Communication/Goal Planning

  1. Present and discuss long-term goals along with short-term action plans with the Vice President of Sales/ Marketing E-Commerce. Schedule meetings monthly at a minimum.
  2. Develop and present timely reports as requested covering Revenue Management activities.
  3. Actively participate in SEC meetings and keep necessary individuals apprised of issues that are pertinent to their responsibilities.
  4. Conduct Global communication to Revenue Management teams on updates or global information; Bi-annual Conference Calls on updates or information sharing ideas and or status on performance.
Financial Responsibilities
  1. Monitor the achievement of budgeted Room Revenue goals for all hotels in the company.
  2. Take actions necessary to correct revenue management deficiencies in the field to maximize revenues and profits.
  3. Ensure Room Revenue Forecasts are accurate within 5%.

Location: New Orleans, LA – This position is based in New Orleans. Candidate must currently reside in the New Orleans area or be willing to relocate.
