Job summary

DK Security is seeking a recruiting professional for a full-time, in-office role in Michigan. You will source, screen, and onboard qualified candidates, while maintaining daily communication with operations and ensuring adherence to policies.

This position emphasizes data entry, spreadsheet management, and teamwork. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Clear communication in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and select qualified candidates.

• Follow all company policies and SOPs.
• Learn job site requirements and communicate policies.
• Collaborate with operations management on site needs.
• Enter data into shared spreadsheets.
• Report recruiting efforts for sites with critical needs.
• Work with team members to recruit effectively.
• Respond to emergency coverage requests (training provided).
• Achieve CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Serve as Skill Evaluator for CPR/First Aid/AED re-certifications.

Job Skills / Requirements

CORE COMPUTER SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WITH TYPING DATA INTO SPREADSHEETS AND WORD PROCESSORS IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION!

Rate of Pay: $17-21/hour.

Schedule: 0830-1700 Monday-Friday (40 hours per week w/unpaid 30-minute lunch break). This is a full-time in-office hourly position. There is not a remote option for this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and select qualified candidates that will be valuable assets to the company.
• Hire, and onboard those qualified candidates, transitioning them into company employees.
• Closely follow all company policies and departmental standard operating procedures
• Become familiar with various job sites assigned to you and learn their unique requirements.
• Become well-versed in effectively communicating company policies to new employees.
• Communicate daily with operations management regarding site needs for assigned job sites.
• Make accurate annotations in the applicant tracking system.
• Enter data into spreadsheets that are shared by other team members.
• Report daily on recruiting efforts for sites with critical needs.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Respond in the field to emergency coverage requests as an officer. (Training and uniforms will be provided).
• Must be able and successfully become CPR/First Aid/AED Certified (prior certification is preferred).
• Must be able and successfully become a ProTrainings CPR/First Aid/AED Skill Evaluator and conduct re-occurring skill evaluations for new and re-certifying employees.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to provide an education document proving completion of High School or a GED.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must not have more than 2 at-fault accidents or 3 moving violations on their driving record from the last 3 years.
• Must be able to clearly speak, comprehend, read, and write in the English language.
• Must not have been convicted of any felonies, nor have any misdemeanor convictions for crimes of moral turpitude (assaults, weapons, theft, fraud, and drug related crimes).
• Must be able to pass a drug screen at the time of hire and randomly thereafter. (Including marijuana due to our company being a federal contractor).
• Must be familiar and comfortable with using a computer mouse, keyboard, and a multiple monitor setup.
• Must be capable of creating and maintaining spreadsheets and documents in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to comply with our corporate appearance and grooming policy and have good personal hygiene.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to create a friendly and welcoming environment for their co-workers and our visitors.
• Must be able to pay attention to details and remain calm and focused for long periods of time.
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and up and down stairs.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Prior experience in security field work is preferred. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.
