Job summary

At NVR, Inc., based at our Reston, VA headquarters, the Recruiter supports Mortgage and Settlement Services teams, building pipelines and guiding candidates through hiring processes. You’ll partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and leaders to deliver exceptional candidate experiences and robust recruiting strategies.

This early-career recruiting role emphasizes relationship-building, sourcing talent, and influencing decisions while gaining exposure across the organization.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of recruiting experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage candidates and business partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, or other talent attraction methods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in leveraging technology, data, and AI tools to enhance recruiting effectiveness.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Exposure to recruiting for mortgage, settlement services, financial services, operations, customer service or other business support functions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source Top Talent: Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies to build diverse pipelines of qualified candidates.
• Manage the Full Recruitment Process: Lead candidates through the hiring journey, from initial outreach and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Partner with Business Leaders: Consult with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Assess Candidate Fit: Conduct phone interviews and evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and alignment with our culture and business needs.
• Deliver an Exceptional Candidate Experience: Build positive relationships with candidates through proactive communication and timely follow-up.
• Leverage Data and Technology: Utilize recruiting technology, reporting, and AI-powered tools to improve sourcing effectiveness and hiring outcomes.
• Maintain Recruiting Excellence: Ensure accurate candidate records and compliance throughout the hiring process using our Applicant Tracking System.

What You’ll Do

This position pays $60,000 - $90,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by factors including the candidate’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, and location.
