Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems in Pasadena, CA seeks a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full life cycle recruiting for regional roles in the HVAC contractor space. You will build pipelines, source passive candidates, and partner with hiring managers to optimize recruiting strategies.

The role requires data-driven decision making, strong communication, and 15% travel as needed. Experience with ATS, candidate experience, and knowledge of employment laws will help ensure compliant, world-class hiring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of in-house recruiting experience.
  • Significant passive recruiting experience in technical sales and engineering.
  • Ability to gather and use data to drive recruiting decisions.
  • Demonstrated communication and coaching skills at all levels from IC to Exec.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliant recruiting practices.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full life cycle recruiting for a portfolio of requisitions in the assigned region(s).
  • Build pipelines and prospect passive talent using creative sourcing methods.
  • Provide guidance on the recruiting process to fill positions quickly with qualified candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to optimize recruiting strategies.
  • Network with industry contacts, associations, and career sites to find top talent.
  • Develop and track recruiting metrics to maintain transparency and effectiveness.
  • Train on ATS usage and interviewing techniques for compliant candidate experiences.
  • Collaborate with external firms and attend career fairs to source candidates.
  • Research new sourcing channels to improve candidate quality.

This position will apply their experience and knowledge in delivering best in class sourcing and talent acquisition practices to find highly skilled and diversified team members to drive continued growth for ACCO Engineered Systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, Etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of in-house recruiting experience is required for this role
  • Significant experience with passive recruiting techniques especially in technical sales and engineering roles
  • Have an inner drive and strong commitment to excel in the pursuit of business goals

  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Passion for exceeding internal customer expectations through world class delivery
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and ability to streamline processes whenever possible
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate and organizational information
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Approximately 15% travel to other regional offices as needed

Additional Skills/Abilities Preferred, But Not Required

  • BS degree in a job-related concentration (e.g., HR Management, O/D, Business)
  • Prior HR experience within the construction or contracting industries

Competitive Wages

$65,000 to 88,750 annually.
