Shure Incorporated in Niles, IL offers a twelve-week Summer 2027 internship in Quality Engineering (CQE). The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students and includes an onsite placement with a housing stipend for those relocating to Illinois.

Interns receive a competitive salary and exposure to diverse engineering tasks. The CQE Intern will assist in reliability testing, document test results, and learn PFMEA, GR&R, and data analysis under the supervision of the CQE Niles Engineer.

Formación

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field with a minimum of two years of engineering coursework
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office applications Word, PowerPoint, Access
• Intermediate to expert working knowledge of MS Excel with ability to perform analysis on various data sets
• Basic Knowledge of Statistics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Keen willingness to learn new concepts and skills
• Minitab experience & knowledge of Six Sigma tools is a plus

SUMMER 2027

Shure offers a challenging, fun, and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Quality Engineering (CQE) Intern will handle a variety of tasks and small projects in the Product Quality department under supervision of CQE Niles Engineer.

This Internship is Onsite in Niles, IL.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field, with a minimum of two years of engineering coursework. (M E, E E, Industrial Engineering Discipline preferred)
• Basic working knowledge of MS Office applications Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Intermediate to expert working knowledge of MS Excel with ability to perform analysis on various data sets
• Basic Knowledge of Statistics and common term used.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen willingness to learn new concepts and skills.
• Minitab experience & knowledge of Six Sigma tools is a plus.

Each internship has an hourly rate which varies from $23-$43 per hour based on job function (Engineering, IT, Business, etc) and year completed in school (Junior, Masters 2nd year, PHD, etc).
