Job Overview

The Corporate Planning & Management (CPM) Division consolidates teams responsible for Finance & Planning, Spend Management, Operational Risk and Resilience, and CPM Engineering. It delivers business planning, analytics, expense management, third-party risk management, and governance strategies across the firm. CPM operates through five pillars:

  1. Spend Management: Manages all aspects of the firm's spend with third parties, advising on commercial agreements and operational efficiency. Departments include Strategic Sourcing, Procure to Pay, Travel & Expense, Infrastructure & Transformation, and Sustainable Operations.
  2. Finance & Planning: Supports strategic objectives through planning, reporting, analytics, and insights into business plans and budgets. Includes CFOs and finance advisors aiding in financial opportunities.
  3. Product Finance: Oversees governance and management of non-compensation expenses.
  4. Operational Risk & Resilience: Implements firmwide risk programs and manages corporate insurance needs.
  5. CPM Engineering: Provides engineering solutions for managing spend, data, automation, and decision support.
Role Overview

This position is within the Sustainable Operations team in Spend Management. It requires collaboration across functions, independent work, analysis, reporting, and interaction with senior professionals globally. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Support sustainability strategies related to net zero, responsible sourcing, and supply chain risk management.
  • Assist with data analysis, modeling, and scenario planning for emissions reductions.
  • Contribute to strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and reporting on sustainability metrics.
  • Participate in research on standards and policy updates.
  • Support small vendor programs and supply chain risk assessments.
  • Maintain communication materials and support stakeholder communication.
  • Help prepare sustainability reports and disclosures.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; professional certifications are a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sustainability or environmental management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of sustainability themes, risk assessment, ESG regulations, and disclosure frameworks.
  • Strong risk management, initiative, adaptability, and communication skills.
