Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a data-focused intern to join its Data & Digital Practice in a client-facing CPM role. You will participate in end-to-end implementations from workshops through configuration and support, helping teams design processes and train clients.

The role emphasizes accounting/finance, technology, and project management, with exposure to Workday Adaptive Planning, Solver, Prophix, Planful, Oracle EPM, OneStream, and other mid‑market CPM tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Math, or related field.
• 90 credit hours completed.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong conceptual, analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to address client concerns and issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.

• Able to be in the office about 75% of the time and travel ~15%.

This position is a client-facing role focusing on Corporate Performance Management (CPM) services and products. As an intern, you will execute end-to-end implementations from participation in system design workshops through configuration and support. The successful candidate must demonstrate willingness to go the extra mile for the team's success. They will be a problem solver, creative thinker, fast learner, be detail-oriented, and interested in learning their clients' business. This is an excellent opportunity for a student with a strong interest in Accounting/Finance, technology, consulting/project management and solutions such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Solver, Prophix, Planful, Oracle EPM, OneStream, or more other middle-market CPM tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consulting with accounting, financial, operational and other management personnel to improve their businesses

Required Qualifications:

• 90 credit hours completed
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Math, or other Business/IT relatedfields
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong conceptual, analytic and problem-solving skills
• Strong project and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms

• Strong self-direction and team working skills
• Able and willing to be in the office approximately at 75% of the time and travel at approximately 15% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant work experience in accounting, finance, IT, or data analysis
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Solver, Prophix, Planful, Oracle EPM, OneStream, or other middle-market CPM tools

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $31 - $37 per hour
