Hodgson Russ LLP, a leading AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an attorney to join its Corporate & Securities practice in Buffalo, Albany, Saratoga Springs, Rochester, New York City, or Palm Beach offices.

The role focuses on complex M&A, private equity, and governance with an emphasis on client service and cross-practice teamwork. Excellent communication and JD from an accredited school are required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other practice areas to provide comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financings, and other strategic corporate transactions.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and expanding engagements across practice areas.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to deliver integrated legal solutions for clients in connection with complex transactions, regulatory challenges, and strategic initiatives.
• Counsel clients on corporate governance, fiduciary duties, entity formation, restructuring, succession planning, compliance obligations, and other business-critical matters.
• Supervise, mentor and develop associates and counsel within the Corporate & Securities practice group.
• Contribute to firm leadership initiatives, strategic planning, and business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience advising complex mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, or corporate governance.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient leader who excels in client service, team development, and practice growth.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Buffalo, Albany, Saratoga Springs, Rochester, New York City, or Palm Beach, is $175,000 to $450,000. This range is not applicable to other locations.
