Job description

The Corporate Paralegal is a key member of the team supporting the Firm’s global Corporate Practice. This includes working directly with partners and associates to provide corporate legal assistant services across all corporate practice areas and all Firm offices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDA)
  • Review NDA’s negotiated by junior associates and provide guidance and feedback
  • Maintain documentation of client NDA processes and procedures
  • Create and maintain NDA and KM resources
  • Proofread and edit NDA documents

Qualifications:

Education: College degree is required.

Experience: 3+ years of M&A experience; expertise in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
  • Must be able to effectively work and communicate with all levels of partners, attorneys, and staff
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients
  • Proficiency with various software programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and the Internet
  • Proficiency with online database management
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must
  • Effective written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while working under pressure to meet important deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented; possess strong organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy.
