Join Our Team as a Corporate Paralegal at Axiom

Location: Chicago

Responsibilities

• Assist client’s legal team in drafting and reviewing corporate governance documents, including board resolutions, bylaws, policies, and charters
• Conduct research and analyze legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate governance and compliance
• Maintain and update corporate records, including board and committee minutes, shareholder records, and other governance-related documents
• Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate documents including annual reports, proxy statements, and SEC filings

Qualifications

• 9+ years of corporate governance experience, gained working as a paralegal in a large corporate in‑house environment
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices, and familiarity with corporate filings, SEC regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in legal research tools, databases, and related software
• Open to working in an engagement-based role, seconded to clients on a temporary basis for approximately six months at a time

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated total compensation for non‑attorney roles is $71,250–309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs. Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
