Job description

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Paralegal.

Overview: Paralegal to support the VP, Head of Legal Affairs

Company: IT Services and IT Consulting

Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience. At least 1+ years of in-house experience desired.

Location: Remote. No preference on time zone; the team is national.

About the Role: We are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team. As the second legal hire, you will support the day-to-day functions of our legal department, working closely with the Head of Legal Affairs and collaborating across departments to build scalable legal workflows and ensure compliance. This role is ideal for someone with experience in paralegal work, contract administration, or legal operations who wants to grow with a fast-paced, mission-driven company and help build a legal team from the ground up. We welcome candidates eager to streamline legal processes, leverage technology, and grow their careers.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review and finalize legal documents (particularly NDA’s in large volume); conduct legal research; assist with corporate governance and entity management; organize and maintain legal records.
  • Project manage and track various legal coordination (e.g. due diligence, contracts, templates, guidance, vendors, M&A documents, etc.).
  • Coordinate contract workflows; assist in the implementation of a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system (Link Squares); assist and manage an organizational data room, assist with routine redlines and execution of NDA’s and standard contracts.
  • Document and improve legal processes; support compliance initiatives; partner with other teams to handle legal requests; provide administrative support to the Head of Legal.
  • Coordinate and communicate legal priorities within all levels of the business.

Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience (with at least 1+ years of in-house experience desired).
  • Experience in paralegal work and legal administration.
  • Experience with legal project management, due diligence, and other process coordination.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems or legal operations software.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive legal information.
  • Problem-solver with a positive attitude, instinctively good judgement and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with M&A transactions.
  • Must be a team player with a commitment to professionalism and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in technology transactions, technology sales/distribution/services ideal, but not required.

Pay Rate:

$50-$60/hour
