A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Corporate Outpatient Coding Coordinator. The role involves conducting second-level coding reviews, providing education to coders, and coding outpatient accounts. Under general supervision and with aid of Official Coding Guidelines, the Corporate Coding Coordinator, Outpatient performs second-level reviews on accounts, assists with department resolution, NThrive edits, and/or denials. The Corporate Coding Coordinator, Outpatient is responsible for assisting Corporate Coding leadership with second level coding reviews and provides education to both facility and vendor coders on correct coding. Acts as a SME for coding questions, reviews, or inquiries and codes outpatient accounts when coverage is needed. This position is responsible for post-discharge review of IP to OP flipped accounts. Position will support Tenet/USPI corporate located in Texas.
