Job summary

Elevate Digital is seeking a senior Corporate Operational Controller to direct the operations accounting function, lead a team of 24 Assistant Controllers, and serve as the primary architect for the department's talent strategy while communicating financial risks and opportunities to the executive team.

This role combines strategic oversight of revenue, margin recognition, cash flow forecasting, and internal controls within construction, EPC, and manufacturing units, with a focus on automation

Qualifications

• Expert-level GAAP knowledge, ASC 606 for long-term construction projects.
• Sophisticated understanding of EPC, Electrical Subcontracting, and Manufacturing business units.
• Proficiency in Oracle ERP or similar ERP packages.

Responsibilities

• Owns the complete revenue and margin recognition cycle, enterprise-level over/under billing strategy, and full-cycle cash flow forecasting.
• Synthesizes KPIs to identify enterprise trends, assesses organizational risk, and communicates net income and overhead forecasts for all operations to senior leadership.
• Reviews project revenue and cost projections with Operations Managers and supports leadership in planning for shifts in project volume.
• Leads succession planning, hiring, and onboarding for the operations accounting team, ensuring full role utilization and professional growth through delegation.
• Establishes internal control frameworks and departmental policies. Drives automation and the integration of new financial technologies.

The position serves as the primary architect for the departments talent strategy and acts as the critical link for communicating financial risks and opportunities to the executive team.

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Financial Oversight: Owns the complete revenue and margin recognition cycle, enterprise-level over/under billing strategy, and full-cycle cash flow forecasting.
• Strategic Reporting: Synthesizes KPIs to identify enterprise trends, assesses organizational risk, and communicates net income and overhead forecasts for all operations to senior leadership.
• Operational Partnership: Reviews project revenue and cost projections with Operations Managers and supports leadership in planning for shifts in project volume.
• Talent Management: Leads succession planning, hiring, and onboarding for the operations accounting team, ensuring full role utilization and professional growth through delegation.
• Process & Governance: Establishes internal control frameworks and departmental policies. Drives automation and the integration of new financial technologies.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Sophisticated understanding of EPC, Electrical Subcontracting, and Manufacturing business units.
• Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Business Suite or similar ERP packages.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 15 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• CPA or CCIFP certification strongly preferred.
