Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi is seeking a janitorial associate to perform cleaning across BCBSMS buildings, including the Executive building. Responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, trash removal, and cleaning restrooms, offices and conference rooms.

Requirements include at least two years janitorial experience, a valid Mississippi driver’s license, ability to lift 25 lbs, climb stairs, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years janitorial experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license.
• Organized and able to handle a variety of duties.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Must be able to follow instruction.
• Able to climb stairs.
• Able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
• Able to use a carpet cleaner.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum all areas and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces in restrooms, offices and conference rooms.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste according to policy.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness across BCBSMS buildings including the Executive building.
