Job summary

Costa Farms is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming corporate office environment. This role supports daily operations by cleaning offices, restrooms, and shared spaces to Costa Farms’ standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, rest room disinfection, and reporting maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in custodial or cleaning services, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and chemical handling.
• Flexible availability including evenings or weekends.
• Basic computer literacy or willingness to learn timekeeping/work orders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of offices, conference rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors, including carpets and rugs as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling; ensure proper waste disposal.
• Clean restrooms, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures; replenish supplies.
• Set up and break down rooms for meetings and events.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to Facilities Management.
• Follow cleaning schedules and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized janitorial storage area.
• Provide courteous and professional service to employees and visitors.
• Collaborate with facilities and vendors as needed.
