Job Description

Corporate Marketing Specialist (Associate) from DCG Communications. This role is remote in the United States. Requires a Bachelor Degree. This position is in the Marketing field.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the DCG corporate content calendar.
  • Provide support for publishing two blogs a month to the DCG website by liaising with blog squad and project managers, and occasionally drafting blog posts as needed.
  • Coordinate between the blog squad and social media team to ensure cross-promotion and draft up to four social media captions monthly. Work closely with the design team and draft content for social media graphics as needed.
  • Provide support in drafting or updating business development content such as white papers, case studies, and capability statements.
  • Support PR/earned media strategy: develop quarterly media lists and identify opportunities; draft 1–2 byline articles for publishing in industry publications per year; conduct research to identify speaking opportunities for subject matter experts at conferences, events, and webinars.
  • Support proposals with covers, layout, callout boxes, work samples, resumes, and past performances as needed.
  • Manage corporate communications channels: review online presence quarterly and make recommendations for improvement; support quarterly newsletter publication and Mailchimp experience; WordPress and SEO experience are a plus.
  • Internal communications support: coordinate internal staff newsletter topics and publish via Mailchimp; ad hoc support for initiatives (e.g., coordinating DCG swag).
  • Awards: research upcoming opportunities, manage an award spreadsheet, coordinate submissions, and help draft submissions as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant full-time professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with content creation, campaign development, PR and earned media, social media
Desired Experience
  • Foundational graphic design experience with Adobe and InDesign
  • Front-end web development experience
  • Experience working within Government contracting
  • Corporate marketing experience
