Job description

A leading US Law Firm based in New York is seeking mid-to-senior level Mergers & Acquisitions Associates with 3+ years of experience to join its sophisticated and growing national M&A practice. Working alongside market-leading practitioners, associates will advise public and private companies, strategic investors, and private equity sponsors on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including some of the most high-profile and innovative deals in the market.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing diligence processes, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Experience with public and private company M&A, federal securities laws, and/or Delaware corporate law is preferred, while experience representing technology and life sciences companies is a plus.

Candidates should possess outstanding academic credentials, excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills, and be confident leading workstreams and serving as a key point of contact for clients and deal teams.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaborate seamlessly across offices and practices, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment while contributing to the development of junior lawyers.
