Corporate Counsel assists with all legal aspects of the business, safeguarding our reputation by ensuring the company adheres to legal and statutory guidelines, and minimizing exposure to legal risks. The candidate provides sound legal advice to management on relevant issues. Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, agreements, and legal documents, primarily with CSC customers.
• Reviewing and assessing CSC obligations under changing international regulations.
• Handling complex matters involving multiple stakeholders and presenting creative solutions to balance legal risks with business interests.
• Providing clarification on legal language or specifications across the organization.
• Proactively identifying and escalating issues, offering risk-based recommendations within strategic business discussions.

Required skills, experience, and qualifications:

• Juris Doctor and eligibility to practice in-house in Delaware under a Delaware Certificate of Limited Practice.
• At least 3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Excellent drafting, negotiating, editing, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in contract review and redlining.
• Alignment with CSC values: service, teamwork, tenacity, agility, and integrity.
• Self-motivated and independent, with good judgment on when to escalate issues or seek guidance.
• Ability to translate legal requirements into practical advice and develop creative solutions to meet company objectives.
