• Manage key milestones and deliverables for the assigned internship project
• Conduct internal and external research and benchmarking
• Partner with associates across teams and functions to identify solutions and present recommendations
• Understand the business vision, mission, and strategic objectives
• Identify associate needs and participate in discussions to address gaps
• Take initiative and participate actively in discussions
• Build a professional network across the enterprise
• Receive direct exposure to leaders and interaction with current associates

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related technical field
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• Strong proficiency in coding, particularly with Python
• Experience with relevant libraries such as Pandas and NumPy is a plus
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and best practices
• Experience or coursework in data analysis, data modeling, and relational databases (SQL)
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must not require Walmart sponsorship for authorization to work now or in the future
