Job summary

Winterwood, Inc. is seeking a motivated Lease Cancellations Corporate Intern to join our Accounting team.

This hands-on role offers a flexible, part-time schedule and an hourly rate of $17.00, with opportunities to learn from experienced accounting professionals in a supportive environment. The intern will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, support lease-related projects, and help maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed High School or college education.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks in the accounting department.
• Support team projects through research, data entry, and analysis.
• Assist with leasing and rents duties relating to accounts statement, balances and refunds.
• Assist in keeping accounts current with NCS following the states necessary guidelines.
• Verify all Final Account Statements have required documentation and submit to Lease Cancellations Specialist for final approval.
• Track, label, redact and log all checks in the drive.
• Assist in new implementation of processes regarding Lease Cancellations.
• Learn and use company tools, systems and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Winterwood, Inc. is seeking a motivated Lease Cancellations Corporate Intern to join our Accounting team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience working closely with accounting professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Job Type: Temporary

Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible, within Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Hourly Rate:$17.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Assist with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks in the accounting department.
• Support team projects through research, data entry, and analysis. This position is heavily focused on supporting the Lease Cancellations Specialist with move out packets and transfers.
• Assist with leasing and rents duties relating to accounts statement, balances and refunds.
• Assists with keeping accounts current with NCS following the states necessary guidelines.
• Verifies all Final Account Statement have required documentation and submits to Lease Cancellations Specialist for final approval.
• Responsible for tracking, labeling, redacting and logging all checks in the drive.
• Assist in new implementation of processes regarding Lease Cancellations.
• Strong attention to detail when dealing tenants, move out packets, balances and refunds.
• Learn and use company tools, systems and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
