Job summary

Burgess Design Inc. is seeking an energetic interior designer or architect with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our Seattle-based team. You will contribute to corporate interior projects and exterior renovations, partnering with clients to transform spaces through architecture and design.

The role involves fast-paced collaboration, managing multiple projects, and producing documentation across design phases. Software proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop is important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in an Architectural Firm with tenant improvement/corporate interiors preferred.
• Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong verbal presentation and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Generate and refine drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
• Coordinate with consultants and develop construction details for permit documentation.
• Assist with site verification and documenting existing conditions.
• Define project goals and translate design concepts into functional spaces.
• Curate furniture and accessory packages and research products for library collections.
