Job summary

Nouryon in Radnor, PA, seeks a Corporate HSE&S Audit Manager to lead a global, risk-based audit program across sites and functions. You will own the Enablon Audit/Inspection and Action Tracking modules and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.

You will manage audit plans, report findings, and mentor the global auditor pool while collaborating with regional teams and external providers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HSE, process safety, or audit/assurance within manufacturing/chemicals.
• Experience managing audit programs, compliance verification, or management systems (ISO 9001/14001/45001, RC 14001).
• Experience with HSE digital tools such as Enablon; track record of maturing an audit function toward risk-based assurance.
• Cross-functional HSE collaboration as a business partner.

Responsibilities

• Audit Execution & Reporting: Lead 3–6 audits per year and ensure high-quality reports in Enablon.
• Auditor Capability & External Providers: Maintain global HSE Auditor Pool and external partner relationships.
• Enablon Ownership & Action Tracking: Own Enablon Audit/Inspection and Action Tracking modules.
• HSE Leadership & Other Support: Participate in the HSE Leadership Team and improvement initiatives.

About the job

The Corporate HSE&S (Health, Safety, Environment & Security) Audit Manager leads Nouryon's global, risk-based HSE audit program – owning the audit framework, tools, auditor capability, and reporting, and serving as the key interface between corporate, regional, and site HSE teams and external audit providers. The role owns the Audit/Inspection and Action Tracking modules in Enablon and supports Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) in tracking and closing all action plans captured in Enablon.

In your future role as the Corporate HSE&S Audit Manager you will

• Audit Program & Planning: Develop and execute the annual risk-based Corporate HSE&S audit plan, ensuring global coverage and prioritization by risk. Evolve audit scope and methodology annually with HSE leadership; maintain audit schedules, history, and site hazard/risk ratings. Develop and maintain HSE risk profiles by site, function, and category to guide audit planning and resource allocation. Maintain and continuously improve the Nouryon HSE Audit Manual and related tools.
• Audit Execution & Reporting: Perform 3–6 corporate HSE&S audits per year as lead auditor/auditor. Review all audit reports (~20/year) for quality and completeness; ensure findings are documented and registered in Enablon. Analyze findings for root cause and systemic gaps; recommend control improvements. Coordinate internal/external legal review of findings; oversee issuance and document management of reports. Support effective tracking, closure, and reporting of audit actions and findings.
• Auditor Capability & External Providers: Lead, develop, and maintain the global HSE Auditor Pool and Lead Auditor Group, including training materials. Support regions/sites with audit process training to sites and regional teams. Maintain the HSE Auditor SharePoint site. Serve as primary contact for external consultant audit partner.
• Enablon Ownership & Action Tracking: Own the Enablon Audit/Inspection and Action Tracking/ALARP modules, including new workflow development. Develop and maintain the Nouryon Assessment Tool in Enablon. Support ISC in tracking, monitoring, and following up on all action plans in Enablon, across audits, inspections, and events. Serve as back-up System Admin for Enablon, liaising with IM support and Wolters Kluwer.
• HSE Leadership & Other Support: Serve on the HSE Leadership Team; support Corporate HSE improvement initiatives.

We believe you bring

Education: Master’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to VP HSE Policy and Deputy General Counsel and based in Radnor, PA.
