Description

Our client seeks a highly qualified midlevel to senior associate with law firm experience to join their Corporate – Fund Formation practice group in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, DC. The ideal candidate must have 5-7 years of comprehensive experience in the formation and administration of private investment funds, a background in corporate law practice from a reputable law firm, and preferably prior employment with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Proficiency in the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and other federal securities statutes is preferred.

The candidate should be skilled in advising fund managers on structuring, market practices, regulatory compliance, and all aspects of private investment fund formation. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution and submission of law school transcripts are required. Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, organizational prowess, meticulous drafting skills, effective communication capabilities, and discerning analytical acumen, along with active membership in the relevant state bar association.
