As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across different areas of Finance, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance management. You will work closely with Finance teams and business partners to analyze financial information, develop insights, and support decisions that help drive business performance and growth.
Throughout the internship, you may support the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, dashboards, and ad hoc financial analyses. Projects may include analyzing profitability across brands, categories, customers, or channels; developing business cases and financial models; identifying key performance drivers; and providing greater visibility into areas such as costs, waste, and their financial impact. Interns may also support month-, quarter- or year-end reporting activities depending on the timing and needs of the business.
Interns may also contribute to finance digitalisation and continuous improvement initiatives, including building or enhancing dashboards, trackers, reporting tools, and financial models that improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial planning and reporting. Through these experiences, interns will have the opportunity to turn complex data into actionable insights and partner with the broader business to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Successful interns will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfort working with numbers and large sets of data, and an understanding of basic accounting and financial analysis principles. Strong Excel and technology skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and communicate financial information clearly are also important for success in the role.
