Ascendo Resources is currently seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst for a full-time, hybrid role (4 days on-site).

Our client is a worldwide fashion retailer generating billions of dollars in sales. This role offers fantastic benefits and upward mobility throughout the company.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support several international markets: USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Panama, among others
• Actively involved in Forecasting and Budgeting process: Sales, Opex. Wholesale Capex. Daily Splits for both wholesale and retail channels. Subsequent presentations to worldwide executive team, etc.
• Support and collaborate with the Accounting team during the monthly and year-end closing
• Analyze financial results and processes to identify opportunities for improvement
• Assist in the preparation, and review of monthly Financial Reporting: Monthly P&L along with quantitative and qualitative analysis. Compilation of management expense reports. Monthly Wholesale Capex. Analyzing and compiling information for sales, KPIS, etc. Ad hoc reporting, etc.
• Preparation and reporting of Daily, Weekly, Monthly and YTD sales across Retail Channels
• Support the Sr. Financial Analyst in the compilation of financial results to department heads
• Collaborate in the preparation of Monthly Business Review Presentation for Executive team
• Support management on ad hoc analyses and special projects
• Assist with preparation of Y/E Audit

Who You Are:

• Bachelors in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA a plus
• 2+ years in similar role; Retail experience a plus, or Manufacturing
• Expert experience with Excel, Access, PowerPoint (Pivot Tables, SUMIF)
• Position is based in New Jersey, willingness to travel to NY Office as needed
