Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Cook at the Pratt & Whitney location in East Hartford, CT. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Culinary degree preferred and ServSafe certification required. Internal Employee Referral Bonus available. Fixed pay rate is $22.90 per hour.

Responsibilities

Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portions and temperatures.
Maintains cleanliness and proper storage; adheres to safe food-handling procedures.
Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting.
Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
Attends in-service and safety meetings.
