Position Summary

In this role, you will create meaningful business impact by helping shape the company's future growth. As a Senior Analyst, you will participate in M&A and BD transactions, with responsibilities including opportunity evaluation, financial analysis, deal execution, and project management. You will be part of a dynamic team with high visibility to Senior Management.

This position has the potential to be fully remote. Occasional travel will be required for in-person meetings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality business and market insights to inform decision-making in Corporate Development efforts.
2. Lead advanced financial modeling and analysis of potential targets, including valuation, financial statement analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis.
3. Contribute to the ideation of innovative partnering strategies and deal structures.
4. Support and lead various aspects of transactions, including opportunity evaluation, due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
5. Conduct in-depth analyses of industry segments, trends, and competitive dynamics.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with pharma and BD counterparts, bankers, financiers, consultants, and vendors.
7. Assist in establishing operational and governance processes for Corporate Development.
8. Build and maintain analytical tools, databases, and templates for Corporate Development.
9. This role can be remote, with travel estimated at 25-30%, including some international travel.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or relevant life sciences field preferred.
2. 2-4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Life Sciences Consulting, or Pharma/Biotech Corporate Development.
3. Extensive experience in financial modeling and valuation.
4. Excellent quantitative, analytical, and research skills with attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Motivated, with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and collaboratively.
7. Effective time management and prioritization skills.
8. Creative problem-solving abilities.
9. Confidence in presenting to management.
