Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Corporate Development Project Manager in Radnor, PA to drive financial analysis for acquisitions and oversee integration efforts. The role partners with the Corporate Development team to evaluate potential transactions and coordinate cross-functional activities.

You will lead data collection, support documentation, and ensure timely progression of transactions, including monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 7–10 years of professional finance and/or accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a corporate environment.
  • 3 - 5 years experience in Project Management running multi million dollar financial projects from inception to implementation.
  • 3+ years management experience of diverse teams both local and remote.

Responsibilities

  • Scrutinize financial reporting and QoE reports during due diligence to evaluate transactions.
  • Provide L9 and integration expenses to be included in projection models.
  • Record and update transaction details in CRM and related systems.
  • Coordinate and maintain transaction files, ensuring legal docs and closing materials are organized.
  • Lead integration/divestiture activities, coordinating with legal and other teams.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and board-level reporting to Corporate and Group.

The Corporate Development Project Manager drives critical pre close financial analysis and oversees post close tracking of key milestones of each acquisition integration process. The Corporate Development Project Manager will partner with the Corporate Development team in evaluating and executing potential acquisition, divestiture, and other business investment opportunities ("Potential Transactions"). This individual will also take the lead and coordinate integration and/or divestiture activities This role ensures the efficient progression of Potential Transactions by coordinating data collection, preparing supporting documentation, and facilitating process flow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Through the due diligence process, this role will scrutinize and analyze each target's financial reporting and QoE reports (if available) to ensure an accurate evaluation of each transaction and organize initial financial scenarios and projections.
  • Liaison with the Divisions/Regions to provide L9 and integration expenses for inclusion in the projection model.
  • Accurately record and update all relevant information in the team's CRM application as applicable.
  • Coordinate and maintain transaction files, ensuring all legal documentation and closing materials are organized and complete to support the transaction closing process.
  • Lead and coordinate integration and/or divestiture activities including working with legal to run and manage KD Prevent background summaries
  • Own the preparation of monthly reports to Corporate and Group, and quarterly reports to Corporate and Group, quarterly reports to the Board of Directors, and other required reporting functions.
Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field.
  • 7-10 years of professional finance and/or accounting experience, with at least 5 years of professional experience in a corporate environment, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • 3 - 5 years experience in Project Management running multi million dollar financial projects from inception to implementation
  • 3+ years management experience of diverse teams both local and remote
  • Foundational working knowledge of Airgas' strategic plans and business model to facilitate effective support of potential transaction analysis.
  • Understanding of financial statements and financial analysis principles
  • High level of proficiency in Google Suite applications, with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fulsome understanding of Airgas financial statements and financial analysis principles and bringing these principles into the due diligence process used by Airgas & Air Liquide.
