Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in investment banking, top-tier management consulting, corporate development, private equity, or venture capital.
• Proven track record of leading M&A or strategic investments end-to-end.
• Strong ability to synthesize market data into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• BA/BS degree with deep intellectual curiosity for crypto, blockchain technology, and digital assets.
• Experience using generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments, including sourcing, due diligence coordination, and integration planning in partnership with senior team members
• Conduct market research and synthesize findings into strategic recommendations that shape company and product direction
• Develop competitive intelligence on key players, analyzing relative strengths and weaknesses and translating insights into actionable implications for Coinbase
• Partner with senior team members to cultivate cross-functional relationships with executives and drive high-priority strategic initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with startups, investors, and industry participants to surface new opportunities and stay ahead of market developments
• Strengthen Corporate Development team operations by enhancing existing processes and contributing to recruiting and developing new team members

What you'll do:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):

$193,970—$228,200 USD
