This position is for a Corporate Counsel with a National Insurance Services Firm seeking to expand its team. The role is fully remote, but candidates must reside within driving distance of Tampa, FL.

Base Pay Range

$130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers the opportunity to work remotely within the greater Tampa, FL area. If you are a corporate generalist with a strong background in contracts, policies and procedures, leases, lease review, and lease renewal, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts.
• Providing legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Reviewing and updating company policies and procedures.
• Handling all aspects of commercial leasing matters.
• Providing legal support for various business units.
• Collaborating with outside counsel as needed.
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in corporate law.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Current member in good standing with any state Bar.
• 3-5 years of experience in a corporate law environment.
• Strong experience with contracts and corporate governance.
• Excellent negotiation skills and problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
