The Home Depot is seeking an Employment Law Specialist to minimize legal exposure in employment matters. The role involves litigation of claims, advising on HR legal issues, and managing outside counsel in a dynamic retail environment. Ideal candidates have a Juris Doctor, extensive employment law experience, and strong negotiation skills.

Position Purpose:
This position requires an employment law specialization to represent the Company in employment legal claims, agency charges (EEO and state equivalent), and litigation. Prior in-house experience and/or employment class action experience are a plus. The ultimate objective of this position is to minimize the legal exposure of the Company in employment legal matters. Advises and consults with managers and other departments on various HR and employment legal issues, and educates internal clients on proactive measures and approaches to reducing potential legal exposure.
