Job description

ID lavoro: 10498835 | Amazon.com Services LLC

Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to support our Amazon Web Services (AWS) product development teams. AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, artificial intelligence and machine learning, agentic AI and more.
We're looking for a products counseling attorney to support AWS's applications, employment, and workforce technology business. In this role, you will work directly with the business team as lead counsel to develop AWS AI products and services at the intersection of emerging agentic technology and the future of work. Your role will give you the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including public policy, privacy, marketing and go-to-market teams.
You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business to innovate and scale quickly. The successful candidate will be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
Lawyers at Amazon are trusted members of the business. Our work is intellectually challenging, exciting, and fast-paced. Developing innovative solutions to novel legal questions is part of our daily business.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

In a typical day of a Corporate Counsel in AWS Products Legal, you may conduct meetings with several of your client teams to discuss upcoming product launches, provide advice on draft contracts to a business lead, develop a strategy document for a novel legal issue impacting AWS, and attend a meeting with business leaders to review an important project.
