A prominent company based in Missouri is looking for a Corporate Counsel to provide in-house legal services and manage its real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctorate and have over 5 years of experience in commercial real estate. They will work closely with the legal team to support diverse business operations.
Orscheln Industries based in Moberly, Missouri is seeking an attorney to join its corporate Law Department. Orscheln Industries includes a diverse portfolio of companies with an international footprint and over 600 employees. Our affiliated companies are engaged in two primary industries: real estate development and manufacturing.
Corporate Counsel would be primarily responsible for providing dedicated in-house legal services and managing the real estate portfolio of Orscheln Industries and will work collaboratively with members of the Orscheln legal team to handle general commercial matters to support all facets of legal services of a diverse group of companies.
A candidate must have a Juris Doctorate and should be licensed in Missouri in good standing. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial real estate experience with a particular focus in transactional work, including buying, selling, leasing, insurance, development and related transactional work. In addition, any experience in commercial transactions, compliance, environmental law and/or intellectual property is desired. Familiarity working with local governments and regulatory agencies is beneficial. A training program and orientation period will be utilized upon hiring.
