Job summary

UWM in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Corporate Counsel to lead compliance research, support regulatory filings, and assist with policy management in a 100% on-site capacity. The role collaborates with internal clients and outside counsel to ensure business integrity.

• Performing clerical duties such as scheduling meetings and composing and typing routine correspondence
• Other duties as assigned

The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for a variety of research and legal matters, as well as supporting the business from a compliance standpoint.

This role requires 100% onsite attendance in our Pontiac office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Assist with researching and responding to compliance questions from the business.
• Daily Administrative duties pertaining to the Legal/Compliance team
• Reviewing, monitoring, and summarizing new and updated laws and regulations
• Researching and analyzing law sources such as federal and state statutes and regulations
