Job summary

Snap-On in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support the company’s commercial contracts, product compliance, supply chain, litigation, and HR matters. This full-time, in-house role requires a JD, bar admission, and 4–6 years of experience.

You will draft and negotiate agreements, advise leadership on risks, and help shape policy and training across functions. The position offers a broad, generalist remit with opportunities to grow across remaining areas of law and regulatory

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Good standing license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4–6 years of relevant legal experience (law firm, corporate legal department, government agency, or combination).
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience in product compliance, supply chain, commercial litigation, or labor and employment.
• Willingness to develop across remaining areas.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Advise business leaders on legal, commercial, and operational risks.
• Counsel on product compliance matters.
• Support supply chain matters and risk allocation.
• Manage or support commercial and product‑related disputes, litigation, investigations, and claims.
• Provide legal support on selected HR and labor matters.
• Collaborate on policies, compliance initiatives, training, and cross‑functional projects.
• Develop and improve templates, playbooks, processes, and training.
• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and communicate their impact.
