We’re seeking a Corporate Counsel with experience in providing legal and regulatory advice and counsel regarding a variety of matters including but not limited to: (1) consumer financial services laws (2) building new and/or enhanced consumer financial products and services, (3) contract work, and (4) interaction and/or communication with regulators. This is an opportunity to shape and support a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization operating at the intersection of consumer finance and technology.

J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably South Carolina.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; attention to detail; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products. Ability to interact professionally and exhibit appropriate social skills, including kindness, curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and strong work ethic, in a team environment.
