UDC’s Corporate Counsel will report to UDC’s VP, Deputy General Counsel and serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing practical, timely and strategic advice across a range of corporate, commercial and compliance matters. This generalist role will partner closely with internal stakeholders to support day-to-day operations, manage legal risks, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position requires strong judgment, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume corporate environment, supporting both U.S.-based and international clients and operations.
In this hands-on role, the candidate must have a strong work-ethic and be a self-starter who can work both independently and as a part of a highly collaborative international team. The candidate must possess strong legal drafting and negotiating skills. The individual must be client-service focused and be able to prioritize and execute on numerous projects simultaneously. The ability to balance superior attention to detail while maintaining an awareness of the big picture are a must.
