Westrock Coffee Company (the "Company" or "Westrock") is searching for a Corporate Controller (the "Controller"). The Controller oversees global accounting and financial reporting operations, manages the accounting department, coordinates financial close and consolidation processes, ensures compliance with financial regulations, prepares financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, coordinates with external auditors, maintains internal controls over financial reporting, supports SEC filings, and integrates corporate initiatives.

The Controller will lead a team of accounting professionals, fostering continuous improvement and professional development. They should be skilled in problem-solving and cross-functional coordination, addressing process, manufacturing, accounting, and technical challenges. The role also involves assisting in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and providing strategic insights for executive decision-making.

Effective communication with C-suite executives is crucial, including presenting financial data clearly, translating complex concepts, and engaging in strategic discussions aligned with company goals. The Controller reports to the Chief Accounting Officer of Westrock.

Job Duties:

1. Responsible for monthly closing, system integrity of the General Ledger, and its integration with consolidation software.
2. Enforce and monitor compliance with company-wide accounting policies and procedures.
3. Communicate effectively across the organization, including ad-hoc training on accounting matters.
4. Review and assist in preparing account reconciliations.
5. Support financial and tax audits with necessary documentation and analysis.
6. Collaborate to align accounting policies organization-wide.
7. Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
