Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in progressive accounting roles; 3+ years in supervisory or controller roles.
• Experience with government contract accounting (FAR, CAS, DCAA) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with government ERP systems such as Unanet or Deltek; GAAP knowledge.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities; high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: GL, AP/AR, payroll, and billing.
• Lead month-end and year-end closes and prepare financial statements per GAAP.
• Maintain internal controls and policies; ensure security and access controls.
• Manage contract funding, costing, and labor distribution for government work.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings; supervise accounting staff.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting for leadership.
