This role works closely with the CFO, who will mentor the candidate to eventually take over his position. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in accounting and 5-7 years of relevant experience, particularly in construction accounting. This full-time position is located in Maryland, offering a pay range of $125,000 to $150,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Completion of a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Five to seven years of experience with day-to-day accounting.
• Strong preference for construction accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete weekly check runs for vendors.
• Review and sign monthly billings to General Contractors/customers.
• Monthly closing of the books and records.
• Prepare financial statements and necessary analysis.
