Senior Executive Recruiter at LHH (Parker+Lynch) - Accounting & Finance

LHH is currently recruiting for a Corporate Controller role with a great, long-term non-profit client. They are in the affordable housing industry is preferred. The company is going through some internal changes so would like this person to come and work directly with their CFO to assess and improve their accounting department. Staff and procedures.

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes a challenge, able to be very “hands-on” and able to look at the big picture to make improvements in this area for the best of the organization.

This role will be FULLY ONSITE so no remote candidates need to apply!

Job Functions:

• Will oversee the company's corporate and property accounting areas; manage, train and mentor the accounting team
• Oversee company's budgets, cash management, audits and accounting activities
• Will be responsible for reviewing and signing AP checks/payments
• Will assist CFO with various financial reporting and presentation materials for the board
• Assist with various housing development accounting and financial areas
• Oversee the monthly close process

We are looking for (key requirements/preferences):

• Affordable Housing industry - highly preferred; understand of HUD a big plus
• 5+ years as a Controller (preferable non-profit) – mandatory
• CPA and/or public accounting preferred
• Bachelor's Degree - Accounting or related field
• Yardi software experience preferred but not mandatory

Salary - $115k – 125k base
