Reporting to the SVP & CFO, this role will lead the global accounting function at PharosIQ. This position is responsible for the preparation of the financial information for the senior management team and board of directors to drive sales growth, profit and cash flow generation.
This role requires the management of international accounting teams in the UK and Philippines.
Position Scope
- Own the accounting function from top to bottom
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process along with preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS accounting principles. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
- Manage preparation and review of timely and complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and account analyses
- Management of cash accounting and forecasting along with bank administration
- Manage disbursement function including accounts payable, corporate credit cards, and expense reimbursement.
- Oversee US and international payroll
- Manage the relationship with the external tax team to support global and US tax filings
- Manage the development and implementation of the company’s accounting processes, procedures, systems, and internal controls. Routinely ensure that these are operating effectively, and that proper security and continuity is in place. Monitor data accuracy and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage an efficient internal reporting structure
- Management of external audits, including annual and interim financial audits, 401k audits, workers comp and other tax related audits
- Act as the accounting Subject Matter Expert to inform the Finance organization and business partners across the company on new accounting standards and their impact to the company, and to develop technical accounting awareness. Research and keep current on accounting standards to ensure company compliance
Qualifications
- CPA is a must
- At least 4+ years of public accounting experience
- 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience
- Experience managing internal and external audits
- Experience with IFRS and advanced knowledge of revenue recognitions principals
- Working in a multinational organization
- Experience working within a high growth, small to middle-market company
- Strong technical accounting skills coupled with both an operational and entrepreneurial mindset.
