Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting across a subsidiary while supporting consolidated reporting at the parent level. The role involves partnering with the President/CFO, driving process improvements, and owning critical system implementations.

You will manage a team, oversee audits, and design cash forecasting and planning processes to enhance visibility and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting and finance with leadership experience.
• CPA preferred but not required; experience leading ERP implementations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and monthly close for subsidiaries.
• Lead monthly and annual consolidations for the parent company.
• Mentor staff and oversee AP, treasury, and subsidiary accounting personnel.
• Serve as primary liaison with external CPA firm for tax matters and lead the annual audit.
• Design and implement cash forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.
• Drive internal controls, compliance, and ESOP/retirement plan accounting oversight.
• Support the new ERP implementation.

Corporate Controller

Salary: $140,000-$165,000 Base + 15% Bonus + ESOP allocation

Key Responsibilities for the Corporate Controller:

• The Corporate Controller will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and monthly close processes across the subsidiary entities.
• Lead monthly and annual consolidations for the parent company
• Manage and mentor staff and oversee AP, treasury, and subsidiary accounting personnel to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the external CPA firm for tax matters and lead the annual audit process
• Design and implement cash forecasting, financial planning, and reporting processes that improve visibility, accountability, and decision‑making.
• Drive process improvement, internal controls enhancement, compliance efforts, ESOP and retirement plan accounting oversight
• Support the new ERP implementation

Qualifications for the Corporate Controller:

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership experience
• CPA preferred but not required; experience leading significant process improvements, ERP implementations, or systems conversions is highly desirable.
