Job summary

Saks Global is seeking a Specialist in Corporate Communications to drive external brand visibility and elevate leadership profiles. You will craft external narratives, coordinate executive speaking engagements, and support strategic communications initiatives across luxury retail channels.

The role focuses on drafting press materials, managing media inquiries, and coordinating media events, while collaborating with internal teams on aligned messaging.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, preferably in luxury retail.
• Proven ability to pitch stories to media and manage press lists.
• Excellent writing and editing for press releases, bios, and social copy.
• Detail-oriented and organized to support team priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Draft and distribute external assets including press releases, media pitches, alerts and bios.
• Support executive thought leadership by drafting LinkedIn posts and identifying opportunities.
• Manage media inquiries, coordinate interviews, and prepare spokespeople briefing docs.
• Maintain media lists, monitor coverage, and report PR impact and reach metrics.
• Vet and coordinate speaking/endorsement requests to align with priorities.
• Coordinate logistics for media events and connections between reporters and leaders.
