Job summary

Sage is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern to support the Global Corporate Communications team on a part-time schedule (15–25 hours/week) during normal business hours. You will assist with social media, content creation, and internal communications in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include scheduling posts, proofreading with Hootsuite, monitoring online mentions, drafting blog posts and press releases, and contributing to DEI campaigns and internal collateral

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program; preferred in Communications or English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with basic social media tools (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Squarespace, WordPress).
  • Preferred experience writing press releases, blog posts, or other public communications.
  • Knowledge of AP style writing preferred.

Job description

Overview

The Corporate Communications Intern will support the Global Corporate Communications department of a major international academic publisher, working part‑time (15‑25 hours per week) during normal office hours.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and schedule content on social media channels, especially Bluesky and corporate accounts.
  • Proofread social media posts using Hootsuite.
  • Monitor and report online mentions of Sage and related materials.
  • Create and edit communications such as blog posts, press releases, and slide presentations.
  • Research industry news and events to provide new insights to communications.
  • Contribute to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion campaigns.
  • Support internal communications, including maintaining a collateral bank and an internal news blog.
  • Track social media engagement to assess campaign performance.
  • Provide other administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited institution; preferred studies include Communications or English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with basic social media tools (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Squarespace, WordPress).
  • Preferred experience writing press releases, blog posts, or other public communications.
  • Knowledge of AP style writing preferred.
  • Ability to interpret data and craft graphs a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Hootsuite preferred.
