Job Purpose

This role supports the foodservice industry by providing creative, value-added culinary solutions and long-term support, inspiring the team to prioritize food, kitchen, and customer needs to add value for our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the culinary aspects of the CD team, assisting with customer presentations and new menu ideas.
  • Lead culinary content development for projects across North America, collaborating with chefs and the Head Chef.
  • Drive savory/scratch cooking initiatives to enhance UFS brands' value with existing and new customers.
  • Coordinate efforts with Marketing, CD Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to meet objectives.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years culinary experience in the Foodservice Industry (Corporate or Kitchen)
  • Culinary Arts Degree
  • 5+ years in Custom development for National Accounts and Commissary relationships
  • Solution-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across sales and other teams
  • Understanding of National Accounts' needs and timelines
  • Experience in branded food categories is a plus
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to meet KPIs and goals as a team
  • Business planning and implementation skills
  • Knowledge of the commissary landscape
  • Willingness to travel approximately 65%
  • Preferably located near Hoboken, NJ

  • Effective at coordinating resources and networking internally and externally
  • Comfortable managing complexity and developing creative solutions
Benefits and Compensation
